Why We Started

Altitude Apparel was born out of a simple frustration: premium outdoor gear from brands like RAB, Arc'teryx, and Patagonia is incredibly expensive, yet thousands of perfectly good jackets are sitting unused in closets across the country.

As lifelong hikers hitting our 40s, we realised we didn't need the absolute newest season's colours. We just wanted reliable, high-performance gear that would keep us warm and dry on a wet Sunday scramble in the Lake District.

Our Mission

We source the best pre-owned outdoor clothing, rigorously inspect it, clean it, and get it back on the trail where it belongs. It's better for your wallet, and it's better for the planet.
